Welcome to Green Light Driving Academy. We are committed to educating the next generation of motorists with the tools needed to be safe and courteous drivers. Equipped with the knowledge needed to successfully navigate the roadways and to pass all requirements necessary to obtain their Michigan drivers license.
OUR STORY
In 2007, Gary and Bonnie White began Green Light Driving School, providing teenagers with quality driving education, fulfilling a desperate need in our community. After several successful years educating our youth the White’s decided it was time to take that next step in life and retire. In 2021, ownership changed and Green Light Driving School became Green Light Driving Academy.
​Here at Green Light Driving Academy, we strive to offer you top notch drivers education with a level of care and compassion like no other. Our instructors have all been professionally trained and are licensed by the State of Michigan. Your teenager is your prized possession and we want you to know that they are in excellent hands. Hi! I am excited to have the opportunity to teach this valuable life lesson to our students. As a parent myself I understand the uncertainties that can go along with sending your child out on the road and I appreciate your trust. I love to drive and think of the roadways as an adventure. I look forward to passing on the art of driving with future generations while keeping the roadways safe and comfortable.

As the original curator of Green Light Driving School, along with her husband, Bonnie has a passion for teaching students how to drive. With a family of her own, safety is a priority and she passes that along to her students beautifully. In her spare time, you can find her camping with her husband and often her granddaughter, children, friends and family.
